"Summer In The Street" is the result of an initiative to identify/create pedestrian-friendly areas Downtown where musicians, theatrical and dance companies can entertain folks in the heart of the City.

Pleasant Street from Porter Street to Market Square closes from 5:00pm – 9:30pm Saturdays on designated weekends during the Summer.

The event, now in its fourteenth year, creates a gathering spot in the heart of Portsmouth for friends, neighbors and visitors alike.
